This small beach town community is unlike other parts of Barcelona and it´s surrounding regions that I´ve seen in that it´s a lot more modern cleaner than other areas. From the main street of Platja D´Aro the buildings have been constructed in more recent times in comparison to its neighbouring counterparts. The coastal town contains some of the most clearest waters you´ll ever see. The hotel we stayed at overlooked the Mediterranean Sea. The walk along the coast is probably one of the most unforgettable moments of my trip so far. Along the coast there´s a path that stretches a few km on the beach and along some of the cliff faces. Mixed between walking on the beach, through caves, along boulders, it makes the most adult of people feel like a child.
If you´re single or have just found a new romance in your life. This is definitely the place to ignite it for walks along the beach at night. You can sit by the cliff face overlooking the ocean. Definitely an opportunity that movies would be made after. With secluded little cove beaches that are hidden away with crystal blue water. There´s even a few nudist coves that have popularized the place for nudist enthusiasts. It´s good when you see the girls but when you see the old overweight men, it ain´t to crash hot.
The sand along the coast is thicker than the fine silk sand beaches that I´m used to. They actually begin to burn your feet after a while constantly grinding as you walk. But other than that this has been by far the best place I´ve been to in Spain.
