Parc Guell Round 2

After visiting Parc Guell a couple of months prior Katrina and I weren't exactly ecstatic about visiting the area again as we were highly disappointed on our first trip round. But for people that haven't visited Barcelona its a major monument to see on the "To Do" list. It's not a bad place to visit as you'll see things here that you won't see anywhere else.

Fortunately the second time around proved to be quite pleasant. Maybe it was the warm weather of the day, the middle of Spring, or the company of friends that contributed towards the parks appeal.

The park was a lot more richer in green this time. I think also with the weather warming up the city of Barcelona also seems a lot more vibrant, particularly the parks. Katrina and I learnt our lesson from the last time of entering the tremendously exhausting steep hill back entrance and opted for the bus ride that stops on the side gate. Much prefer a bus ride than a 200 metre steep climb.

Warning, coming to the park on the weekend you'll have to bear with tourist overflooding as spawns of people fill the pathways, seating, buses to the area, and especially the main entrance, which is the highlight of the park.

In winter this park seemed quite dull but it definitely livens up to coincide with the weather warming. Katrina and Mona had a great time that day catching up on good old times and future plans. Brad and I talked about the usual guy conversations of woman, movies, sports, porn and video games... well not really but it was a good day.

Well from the picture below Mona and Katrina had a good laugh at an architect that may have been trying to compensate for something.
